With PWP inhibitor function:
The new PWP process (Pure Water Process) inhibits the release in drinking water of toxic metals such as Lead and Nickel normally present in taps and fittings.
The innovative PWP process consists of two treatments. The first treatment guarantees the chemical elimination of lead from taps and valves, the second treatment is represented by an extremely corrosion-resistant electrolytic nickel deposit, with additives to particular products that do not allow the release of nickel ions in contact with water.
These results were obtained in the most extreme conditions: test conducted on valves at pH = 5 and at a temperature of 82 ° C, as required by the NSF 61 standard.
The specially modified Clean Lead removal process helps to inhibit the dissolution of metals such as Lead, Copper and Zinc in drinking water, the PWP bath completes the work by almost totally eliminating the release of Nickel ions.
Characteristics
1 * These mixers for water purification systems (3 - 4 - 5 ways) are printed with Barra st. UNI EN12165 brass CW 617N-M with low lead content, as required by Ministerial Decree 174. In addition, they are subjected to a treatment called PWP (Pure Water Process) which allows a further decrease in the release of lead and nickel.
2 * The body / barrel fittings and couplings for food pipes are made with UNI EN121165 CW 614N-M brass bar, also with a low lead content. Furthermore, they are treated with an innovative method called T.E.A. (Ternary Eco Alloy) which replaces the classic nickel / chromium deposit while also guaranteeing resistance to corrosion and satisfies the limits imposed by the current International Regulations applied to water intended for human consumption (NSF 61 section 8).

With regard to the aforementioned article, we use a food pipe to eliminate the contact of the purified water with the tap pipe and also to have the total separation of the water up to the exit. The hose we use is the JOHN GUEST LLDPE hose, which is certified by the American NSF (NSF51 and NSF61 specifications) and by the English drinking water body WRAS, and the raw material is FDA approved.
