Bossanova Champagne - Classic kingsize hammock in organic cotton
Incredibly spacious, elegant, comfortable and extremely soft thanks to organic cotton. Your new luxurious oasis of relaxation created according to the Brazilian tradition.
Hammock
Our hammocks are available in countless variations, sizes and colors at different prices. Here you will find a review of all our products.
Classic hammock
The original hammock is the Latin American hammock! South Americans lie diagonally, the most common and traditional position. In this position the back remains comfortably relaxed and the body opens the hammock. Tip: the wider the hammock, the bigger the comfort!
Brazilian crafts
The joy of Brazilian living and of completely relaxing: the typically Brazilian special finishes, such as the macrame and the handmade ornamental borders, make this Brazilian hammock unique and special.
Soft organic cotton
Organic cotton delicate on the skin: the particular structure of the fibers makes the fabric soft and resistant and highlights its color.
Soft cloth
Thanks to their special weaving technique, the Brazilian hammocks offer a particularly soft and elastic fabric that delicately adapts to the body.
Family hammock
Traditional cloth hammock for 1 or more people. A word of advice: you lie more comfortable if you lie down sideways - in this way your back is better supported and the hammock will better accommodate your body.
Cotton from organic cultivation
Loyal to man, loyal to nature: BIO cotton is produced according to ecological principles and represents an ecological alternative to conventional cotton.
Brazilian macramé
The elaborate hand-made weaving called Macramé artistically combines surface and suspension surface. In addition to being aesthetically appealing, the Macramé distributes the body weight optimally on the suspension cords on both sides and thus guarantees additional comfort.
Traditional artistic gallon
The artistic gallon ornament tied by hand to the edges of the lying surface is a characteristic of the Brazilian hammocks. The tradition of the "veranda" is handed down especially in the north-east of the country in the home workshops.
Tear-resistant edge
The two ends of the lying surface are woven in a particularly dense way and thanks to this robust processing, they give enormous stability to the product.
Many suspension ropes
Comfort increases with a greater quantity of suspension ropes: the more ropes that suspend the hammock, the more the weight is distributed in an optimal way and a very pleasant sensation of absence of gravity is created.
Dimensions
To determine the distance and the necessary height of the two suspension points just follow a simple rule. The suspension height (y) should be at least half the distance between the two suspension points (x). If the distance between the two suspension points is greater, the hammock will have to be hung higher.
fixing
Hammock between two trees
Depending on the size of the hammock, the two trees will have to be at least 3 meters apart, and be strong enough to bear the weight. To fix the hammock between two trees, two ropes will be enough to wrap around the stem.
Hammock between two walls
To secure the hammock, it is better to prefer sturdy and load-bearing walls. To fix the hammock to the wall it is better to use the Multispot, which distributes the weight on several points.
Machine wash (delicate programs)
This hammock can be washed at 30 ° C with the delicate program!
Join the ropes
Before washing, it is important that the ropes are tied together to prevent them from tying during washing.
Brazilian Macramé is easily protected with a laundry net.
No to the dryer!
To protect your hammock, allow it to air dry and do not use the tumble dryer.
Protect from abrasions
When hanging your hammock, make sure that it is well suspended and that it does not rub against the ground.
Disassemble at night
Cotton hammocks cannot stand continuous humidity. At night it is recommended that your hammock be dismantled to protect it from dew. If the hammock is moistened, it is advisable to air dry it.
Store dry
Before the arrival of winter, we recommend washing your hammock. After it is completely dry, it can be stored in a plastic bag in a cool, dry place.
