The original hammock is the Latin American hammock! South Americans lie diagonally, the most common and traditional position. In this position the back remains comfortably relaxed and the body opens the hammock. Tip: the wider the hammock, the bigger the comfort!
Handmade in Colombia
As colorful as its land, the hammock reflects Colombia's culture and joie de vivre.
High quality cotton
The particular structure of the fibers makes the fabric soft and resistant and highlights its color.
The quality of a hammock is also recognized by the high number of suspension ropes. They distribute the weight evenly and increase its comfort and longevity.
Traditional cloth hammock for one person. A word of advice: you lie more comfortable if you lie sideways - in this way your back is better supported and the hammock will better accommodate your body.
Pure cotton, delicate on the skin, comfortable, tear-resistant and long-lasting. The colors shine above all in their long fibers.
The two ends of the lying surface are woven in a particularly dense way and thanks to this robust processing, they give enormous stability to the product.
Many suspension strings
The number of suspension ropes contributes to increasing the comfort and longevity of a hammock. The more numerous the ropes, the better the weight is distributed in the hammock, transmitting a pleasant sensation of lightness!
To determine the distance and the necessary height of the two suspension points just follow a simple rule. The suspension height (y) should be at least half the distance between the two suspension points (x). If the distance between the two suspension points is greater, the hammock will have to be hung higher.
Hammock between two trees
Depending on the size of the hammock, the two trees will have to be at least 3 meters apart, and be strong enough to bear the weight. To fix the hammock between two trees, two ropes will be enough to wrap around the stem.
Hammock between two walls
To secure the hammock, it is better to prefer sturdy and load-bearing walls. To fix the hammock to the wall it is better to use the Multispot, which distributes the weight on several points.
To lay down
By lying diagonally in the hammock, your body will keep the lying surface open, without the hammock fabric wrapping around you.
Machine wash (delicate programs)
This hammock can be washed at 30 ° C with the delicate program!
Join the ropes
Before washing, it is important that the ropes are tied together to prevent them from tying during washing.
No to the dryer!
To protect your hammock, allow it to air dry and do not use the tumble dryer.
Protect from abrasions
When hanging your hammock, make sure that it is well suspended and that it does not rub against the ground.
Disassemble at night
Cotton hammocks cannot stand continuous humidity. At night it is recommended that your hammock be dismantled to protect it from dew. If the hammock is moistened, it is advisable to air dry it.
Before the arrival of winter, we recommend washing your hammock. After it is completely dry, it can be stored in a plastic bag in a cool, dry place.
