SIMPLE AND FAST TEST TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH LIMESCALE IS PRESENT IN YOUR WATER.

 

1 drop = 1 ° FR

 

HOW DOES IT WORK:

- Rinse the tube with the water to be analyzed

- Fill the test tube with the water to be analyzed up to the 5ml mark.

- Add the titrant drop by drop and shake the tube after each added drop.

Count the drops until the color changes from red to green.

Each drop equals 1 ° F.

 

ex.

if the color change occurs at the thirtieth drop, you have a water hardness of 30 ° F

 

 

If, on the other hand, you also want to calculate the half degree, fill the tube up to 10ml and each drop will be worth 0.5 °

 

 

IN THE CASE OF INSTALLING THE SOFTENER:

 

Check the hardness of your water before installing the softener.
