When hanging a bar hammock it is essential not to forget to hang it tightly. The greater the suspension tension, the better the comfort in lying down. For a bar hammock you need more space than a traditional hammock. The suspension height (y) should be at least a quarter of the distance between the two suspension points (x). For a 4-meter bar hammock, a suspension height of at least one meter is required. If the hammock is smaller, a smaller distance and height is sufficient.

Hammock between two trees
Depending on the size of the hammock, the two trees will have to be at least 3 meters apart, and be strong enough to bear the weight. To fix the hammock between two trees, two ropes will be enough to wrap around the stem.
Hammock between two walls
To secure the hammock, it is better to prefer sturdy and load-bearing walls. To fix the hammock to the wall it is better to use the Multispot, which distributes the weight on several points.
To lay down
In the bar hammock, the most comfortable position is to lie straight on the hammock. The support bars keep the lying surface well stretched for your rest.

The bar hammock can be washed by hand.
Protect from abrasions
When hanging your hammock, make sure that it is well suspended and that it does not rub against the ground.
Store dry
Before the arrival of winter, we recommend washing your hammock. After it is completely dry, it can be stored in a plastic bag in a cool, dry place.
